Are you not an actor but want to learn the technical side of theatre? We have a spot for you too! We have skilled and experienced crew that are excited to teach you everything they know. This includes stage managing, lighting, sound design, costumes, props, set building and more! You’ll finish your time with us either running lights, or sound, or calling the shots behind stage. This is a great place to learn team building and leadership skills and putting other skills into practice. We are accepting teens ages 14 to 17 to join us. We’re excited to have you be a part of our season!

Curious about our ‘house’?  Check out this video to see what our alumni have to say about us!

In  2013 Tree House Youth Theatre produced Red Deer’s official Centennial play, Red Deer River Stories. At that time we started a monthly giving program to invite donors to help keep us sustainable and happily in the “green”

We are continuing our giving program for all who would like to support our ‘house’.  We have called it our “Housekeeping” Fund.  We have set a goal of $25,000. to be raised every year.  In order to achieve that, we are inviting individuals or businesses or groups of people to commit to donating $500. or more.  Donors will receive recognition with their name on our ‘giving tree’, on theatre programs and our website, as well as invitations to rehearsals and complimentary tickets to our shows.

There are many ways to support Tree House Youth Theatre: by clicking the ‘donate’ button below, by setting up monthly cheques, by an annual donation or any way it works for you.

Please contact our office for details and to make arrangements. You can read a little more about us here.

All donations of 20.00 or more will receive a tax receipt.

We are always looking for additional Board members to join us. We may need your skills and ideas to help us create our future.  If you would like to join Tree House in this way and have just as much fun as the actors, please contact us at treehousetheatre@gmail.com
