What is the THYT Theatre Program?

Is your youth interested in being on stage or behind rhe scenes? Do they love performing and want to find a group of like minded kids? Then the Theatre Program is perfect for them. The Theatre Program will work on two productions each season; one in January, and one in June. Utilizing industry standards and practices, participants will have the opportunity to learn about, and participate in performance, stage management, playwriting, design (lights, costumes, sound, set), and board operations/programming.

Program Details

• Participants can choose to be part of one, or both productions each season

• Rehearsals: Sunday from 2:00-4:00

• Performances: January 22-24, 2026 and June 18-20, 2026

• Where: The Scott Block

• Fall Term: September to January

• Winter Term: February to June

Program Costs

• $595.00 for Full Season (Sept-June)

• $349.00 for December Show (Sept-Jan)

• $349.00 for June Show (Feb-Jun)

Registration for our Winter/Spring term is now open. Our Winter/Spring term runs February to June, with performances in June.​​​
