THYT THEATRE PROGRAM
Registration for our winter/spring term open in December 2025. Our winter/spring term runs February to June, with performances in June.
Our 2025/26 Season will begin in September 2025, and run until June 2026. During this time, we will have performances January 22-24, 2026 and June 18-20, 2026 at the Scott Block Theatre in Red Deer.

In the THYT Theatre Program, your youth will have the opportunity to create plays for our performances in January and June, participate in workshops throughout the season, play fun theatre games, work with our playwriting mentors, learn about lighting, sound, set, costume and prop design, and stage management, in addition to performing, writing, stage managing, directing, and designing our January and June shows.

Our programming is divided by age group (ages 9-10, 11-12, and 13-17), with each group rehearsing separately, and then coming together for our January and June productions. The THYT Theatre Program is split into terms (Sept-Jan and Feb-June) and your youth may choose to participate in both terms, or just one.
